Core Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Saginaw, Michigan.

Gross Weekly Pay
This position is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure, and maintains patient safety. The RN outlines individual care plans, implements, evaluates and documents care of patient during surgical procedures. Provides leadership to the OR team. Communicates with the patient and family, OR team, supervisor, manager and ancillary departments. Participates in staff development through preceptorship and continuing education
Responsibilities
(40%) Assesses the needs of the surgical patient and develops a plan of care specific for that patient. Implements and evaluates the plan of care during the procedure, and makes necessary adjustments keeping patient safety a priority.
(30%) Supervises activity in the room. Anticipates and coordinates any schedule changes for the room. Assembles equipment and supplies. Assists anesthesia as necessary. Monitors sterile field.
(20%) Communicates with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
(10%) Participates in staff development by attending in-services, educational meetings, staff meetings, and other meetings/seminars for educational opportunity along with leadership and growth opportunity.

#1 RN Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday works and ( takes call those nights)
#2 RN Wednesday, Thursday, Friday ( takes call Thurs, Friday and weekend call Sat/Sun) Works again Mon,Tues, Wed and takes call those nights
#1 RN comes back and works Wed, Thurs, Friday ( takes call those nights and the weekend call. Works Mon, Tues, Wed and takes night call on those nights
That way, each would rotate around the other. They would both be on Wednesday, with six days off between their shifts.
